Listening to a lot of JJ Heller tonight, she's one of my favs.

Lately, I'm having a ton of anxiety about going to school and away this summer. It's no fun. I'm constantly praying about school and what I want to do. Through all of it, I know I am in God's hands, and he has mapped out everything for me.
All and all I have a few things to say:
1. I miss my sister.
2. Volleyball and traveling is life at the moment.
3. Senioritis has officially kicked in.
4. I REALLY miss my sister, did i mention that?
5. i'm craving a night with my friends to do nothing but eat and watch my favorite movies.
6. The Hunger Games move comes out in less then a month.

O happy day
I love the roller coaster of life, for real. Its so fun. We have so many things to be excited for, and to enjoy. I get so excited for little stuff. Trips, family visiting, getting to talk to my sister once a week, events at school. There is so much. But when days are just ordinary, how do we get excited? When its the same busy routine that week, how do you wake up smiling? I read a few weeks ago that, if every morning we woke up and immediately told ourselves "Today, I have a purpose. God has let me wake up from my sleep today, to do something fun and exciting for him," well we would have a much better view about that day.
That's really hard to do on a Monday morning at 6 am correct? But it is so true, and lately, its been working for me. Trying to be excited and joyful, even in the boring/stressful/ordinary days, because so much excitement is coming.

How he loves
February. The month of love :)
I feel like we can find love in sooo many ways these days. In books, in movies, in a simple hug, in a text, in doing a favor, in giving a compliment, in quality time with someone, there is so much. Nothing I can think of compares to God's love. Oh my goodness, not even close! Its so powerful, and the reason we are even able to give a little bit of love is because of him.
"We love, because God loved us first."
The bible says we should "love one another with brotherly affection." So that's what we need to do, that's my goal for this month. To just LOVE. Even if its in the simplest ways.
Lets make this month all about love. Loving others, and loving God.
